Spider-Man 3
Worst movie in 5 years

Now, I've never been a fan of the Spider-Man movies, but I AM a comic book movie fan. Batman Begins, X-Men 1 and 2, Superman, Batman, etc. All great films – whether comic book or not. I'll even say that Spider-Man 1 and 2 were OK, but could have been better.
But, Spider-Man 3 is ridiculous. Characters were badly written, the action was WAY too CGI and fake-looking and people laughed at the screen – but it wasn't funny. It was sad. All that money on special effects (which weren't all that great), and no money on script.
Positives:
The special effects for Sandman, especially when he dissolves and then re-builds himself, are truly amazing. Beautiful in a way.
That was the only positive I saw
Negatives:
Everything. Character development, most special effects, dialogue, plot, action. It's just a horrible film that really didn't need to be made. Clearly, Sony Pictures decided that making money off of a movie is more important than having a really good film. Either that, or Sam Raimi (Director) really wanted to bury the franchise so that he can go do other projects.
Bottom Line:
Skip it. This is a horrible film that shouldn't have been made. It's a slap to comic book movie fans, slap to adults, and a slap to anyone who has ever seen a movie. Watch any of these comic book movies instead:
Superman
Superman II
Batman
Batman Begins
X-Men
X-Men 2
X-Men 3
Punisher
My apologies for such a short critique of the film, but if I go any longer, this site will need to be censored and adult oriented because of all the foul language.
